Tali Hits

So... where to begin? I went up to Tali for the day with a bunch of my friends. It was an amazing trip. Chips for breakfast, Chips for lunch, "good stuff" (youmustknowwhat;)) for merienda and a very very appetizing meal for dinner ( free food always tastes better! and plus we had A LOT). Not to forget, the vodka and sprite the whole afternoon. While our meals happened, we also played around on the raft, got "bitten" by fishes, jumped the cliffs, got smashed by the waves, got cuts from the current and the rocks and then finally, entered the elite premises of the Punta Fuego club. Swam a bit in the infinity pool, then had a warm relaxing shower. The company of my friends made all of this a wonderful trip. Must do this again. Soon.

Fuego Fun

So Paolo and i packed our backpacks that early morning and drove up to Punta Fuego. It took a couple of hours because of my very ancient car. We couldn't go over 100kph because it felt like the car would just dismantle, and when we went up roads that were steep up, we had to shut the aircon. haaay, how i love my car. No, seriously. Old and falling apart, but still worth it :) We ended up staying the night in my friends beach house and although the beach is without a doubt nothing compared to Tali ( yes, born and raised to love the laidback serenity of Tali beach), we made a do with it.

Tagaytay

Skype doesn't give it all

So this is why i will never be in a long distance relationship. you can't even touch each other, Now would you look at that! shameful. shameful. hahaha it must be the most difficult thing to be in one, something i am not cut out for.

50mm f/1.8

So i just bought new lenses using my savings. These are my first few shots with it. The nikkor 50mm f/1.8. The lenses don't automatically focus on my camera because my DSLR body is only a d40. it's a simple camera and i love it. Also, i guess the manual focusing gives it more of a thrill to me and basically i've just enjoyed it so far. Makes every foto mean more :)

6AM

every time i have to get up this early, it's usually for futebol(others may call it soccer) training, and i'm always in a rush to grab my bag and a pack of crackers and get to the car to drive off to the field. until one day, i actually woke up without an alarm ruining any of my dreams because my body just wanted me to get up. i just woke up without being forced to. so i just decided to go out and take fotos and they turned out to be all beautiful and inspiring to me.

I can't even begin to explain how this 6 day adventure went. All the alcohol, all the sun and sand, and basically our independence after 10 challenging yet amazing months of disciplining ourselves for futebol (and winning champions of course)... this trip was beyond epic, it was beyond just getting away, it was all more than that. We were all together on one island, kissing hugging and holding hands with one another. no judgments or hard feelings passed our way. only unity and happiness. great friendships just got even greater :) cheers to that :)
